Who We Are

The Working Group consists of academics, the wider public, and students. It critically examines Canada's membership in NATO, and NATO's impact on the environment and in global affairs.

Critical analyses of NATO, as well as peace and conflict resolution strategies that promote common security and non-alignment with military blocs, are largely absent in academia, media and government

In alignment with Science for Peace's peace education mandate, non-violent policy development advocacy and campaigns, the Working Group aims to provide a unique contribution to Canadian discourse.
