Our team of volunteers, though diverse in occupation and age, share a commitment to thinking through solutions to the existential threats of our age. As commitment rather than ideological conformity characterize our board members, discussions are sometimes contentious but always respectful and fruitful.

Linda Kalafatides,
Board member
Linda Kalafatides is a secondary school teacher dedicated to anti-violence education. She currently teaches the grade 12 Equity and Social Justice course for the Toronto District School Board and has been a member of SfP for several years.

Emily Hannan,
Board member
Emily completed her studies at Wilfred Laurier University. Her focus includes global studies, peace and conflict studies, and social theory.

Serene Elmusharaf, Board member
Serene Elmusharaf is the president of the Science for Peace Student Chapter. Her work focuses on creating inclusive platforms for youth engagement and ensuring that underrepresented perspectives are heard in international decision-making processes.
