Thematic Focus:

We invite you to become a part of the largest global initiative towards sustainable development in our history. In 2015, after four years of negotiations, over 190 world leaders committed to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through these goals we hope to end poverty, inequality, injustice, irreparable climate change and bring about peace, security and sustainable development to our world. Find out how you can take action and be part of the local momentum!

Event Highlights

Getting Involved: A special SDGs Youth Leadership Training Session is organised by the Science For Peace UofT Campus Group to bring students, UN clubs, other university / college campus groups, NGOs, UN regional branches to join forces in creating change leaders towards a sustainable future.

Be the Change: Science For Peace letter writing campaign to PM Justin Trudeau to promote nuclear disarmament

Lead: Ideathon – group discussions on 17 SDGs goals, exploring SDGs framework, collaboration in action with local NGOs
