Khalid Ahmed is Secretary General of the Sudanese Canadian Human Rights Organization in Toronto. Khalid is also a former recipient of the Canada’s Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Award (CGS) and the Ontario Government Scholarship (2011). In 2011, he received the Arbor Award which recognizes outstanding personal service to the University of Toronto. Khalid was the Peter F. Bronfman Leadership Award Recipient, 2005.
